Report to the 55th IQ-Net Conference, 29 November – 1 December 2023, Hungary

As well as providing an overview of progress in implementing the 2014-20 and 2021-27 IQ-Net programmes over the past six months, highlighting the challenges faced and strategies adopted to meet these challenges, this paper provides an insight into developments in two areas where alignment with other funding streams is crucial: first, the use of financial instruments to support business growth; and second, using the flexibility available in Cohesion Policy to support vocational training and skills, especially green skills, in innovative ways.
